Let it snow !

I asked for it and now FINALLY SNOW ! wooohooooooo !!!!!!!

this cheers me up a little……… as there are still too many things I don’t like or can’t/won’t deal with anymore.

Christmas without snow ? at the beach ? with palmtrees ? YEAAAAA !!and the big waves I’m missing at the north shore *sigh*

I missed to set up a wishlist (for whoever wants to give me a gift) but here are some wishes…

• TV
• Apple Iphone 3GS

and that’s it ! ok I didn’t mention the greencard (for living in the US) or the Dodge RAM or the ticket to Hawaii…….

back “home”

well I’m back but not really BACK ! I think I lost my heart in Hawaii (Maui and O’ahu) ……. and the cultural shock is big – if you know what I mean ???

The weather is cold – it was cold in Kihei at night but this is REALLY cold – I don’t like to freeze ……….

I won’t complain about the weather ……… the sun did appear twice since I arrvied….woohoooooo TWICE !!!!!!!!! tssssssss !  And I miss the sand, the beaches, the pacific, the surfboards, kona coffee, fresh and fruity papayas, pineapples and fruits in general……*sigh* no I won’t complain ! I’LL WEEP !

whatever……. it took 10 days to arrive – get over this jetlag – and now I’m back. I do like the cold air from time to time and I would love to see snow.

I don’t even have a picture to publish, I didn’t took any pictures yet ! ….

it’s close to x-mas and I only have 2 wishes – Hawaii and an iPhone 3Gs !

I’m cold and tired and hungry every 3hours ………pffffffff did I mention I’m freezing ??? YEA !!! freezing off my okole !  brrrrrrrrrr……….

this land my homeland ? no way ! it’s so cold ……..way too grey too unfriendly and hectical …… me …… da hawaiian ……in da german land….. Kelemania…. please I need a ticket ! back to HAWAII !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the flights were long and cold and my nose is as dry as can be (damn airplaine air) and I’m sneezing already, the cold air hurts when breathing and ….. I could complain………..a bit more but…….. I won’t ……… *sniff*

And always expect the unexpected……..like somebody taking your picture whenever, wherever …..ts ts ts…..

and I really don’t like cold airplaine air……….. and also not the fact that you don’t get food on 5h flights that’s big sh** ! only one drink and then …well try to survive ! and no starbucks ever again ! for 2 sandwiches and 2 coffee to go they charged 27$ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG !!! …….

this morning when I woke up I was totally lost……

where am I ? Which island ? which hotel ? hmmm GERMANY ?? oh no wrong plane ! *hihi* …… if you don’t read from me here…..in a while……. I’ll be busy with washing, eating, sleeping, sleeping, sleeping, eating, shopping and sleeping ! ALOOOOOOOOOOOOOHA !

Road To Hana Part 2

Hana ….first time last year, 2nd time this year in August, 3rd time today and today even though we had heavy rain all the time it was great coz all the waterfalls had tons of water ! YEA !!! and only a few tourists drove along so we could speed up *puke*

had a fish taco at my fave food stand 6miles ahead of Hana – u can also by the best coconut candy there !!!

in the evening did some more shopping just if I had space in my bags *tze* and that’s it for today ! have a good one !

 

surfin at Cove Park

waves: excellent

what to do ? RENT A BOARD ! woohoooooo !!!!! the shop was opposite of Cove Park and da dude suggested to go surfin right opposite of his shop so it was Cove Park and around 20 surfers in da water ! loved it ! This time I got a very looooong longboard and even a rash guard and those shoes …..nice

so….. I did ride 3 waves completely (yay) and then the waves were kinda not that good anymore *sigh* all together I was surfin 4h and then I was cold and of course WET *lol* and out of power.

and now that I really go into surfing I have to leave ! SNIFF !!!!!

PS. my body has rashes all over ! VERY PAINFUL ! can barely move ! ouch !

Maui…

did I mention that I love Maui ??? if not … I LOVE MAUI ! 

not so crowded, no monkeys and lovely beaches (in Kihei)

let’s see……the day started cloudy but the sun came out and after I sent 287,3 postcards to my friends the Iao Valley was the next stop. Been there before but today the weather was just perfect ! and after Iao Valley…….it was 5.30pm or sumthing ….went to da beach to enjoy the sunset ! aaaaaah could do this over and over and OVER again ! some people who live here are sick of sunsets…..I’d rather be sick of da mosquitos and the other bugs that bite !

oh and Keke…..as you’re missing the super duper x-mas decoration and stuff…there’s ONE pic for you ! hope you’ll like it ! sniff I wanna spend x-mas here !

I do like O’ahu kind of …. I do like the parts where there are no crowds and that’s not Waikiki. I enjoyed the area around the YWCA it’s close to the mountains and not crowded ! The week in Honolulu with all these crowds of Tourists …..uuuuuh

Kaua’i is not crowded but way too wet for me no matter which place the green island is not ma favorite and tadaaaaaa

I DO like Maui and …again I’m picky, Lahaina was too hot when I was there 4 weeks, Kihei is lovely, not too hot not too cold and the beaches are perfect ! so I’ll enjoy the next 5 days as much as I can !!!!

Haleakala here I come ! …….oh did I mention that I finally got what I wished for ???? since I’m on Hawaii I wanted a thunderstorm and tonight it was there !

Impressive to see it and HEAR it ! but unfortunately no pics *sigh*

let’s hope the weather will improve a little bit ….. I want to rent a surfboard and hang loose at the beaches !

Joy and Fun

there is a flash flood warning for today and tomorrow so I expected tons of rain and dark clouds and of course thunderstorms…..

weather today: sunshine, blue skies no rain BUT it’s windy *brrrr*

so instead of doing nothing I’ve been busy  !! Checked out Magic Island (opposite of Ala Moana Center – or next to Aloa Moana Beach Park)  and right after that had a fun trip on da water with dis Aqua Cycle – and my friend !!

oh I forgot in between we visited the US Army Museum (a good thing to do on Veterans Day yes ?) well I really liked the restrooms the one and only reason we went there the museum  :)

what else ? last xmas shopping in Waikiki and I really don’t want to complain BUT IT’S SO COLD HERE ! BRRRR only 70°F (22°C) and chilly winds ….BRRRR …. I KNOW it’s Hawaii but it feels cold…….. don’t get me wrong but I’m Kama’aina Haole and …..used to the heat. This is really cold !
